TUBERCULINUM’S TRAVELOGUE

When on morning walk I found one of my best friend running fearfully toward the Jabalpur railway station which is not very far from here. He was carrying a big aristocrate suit-case in his hand. Apparently he was panting for breath for carrying such a heavy suit-case. What happened Tabbu, I asked, is some somebody chasing so? You look so frightful. Oh yes I found a stray dog there, its very ferocious. I am always afraid of such animal. But where are you going so early morning? I am going kullumanali and from there I am planning to go to Katmandu. As you know I always like such hilly places, because I feel good in hilly places and the low land sea places do not suit me; as I fall sick there in humid damp atmosphere. I was walking alongside and found him walking down the pitch road perhaps due to fear of being run over by vehicle running on the road. Why are you going alone? Where is your sweet wife? She has gone to her mother. I am now putting up alone as she does not like me mixing with Shilpa whom I love now a days. My wife objects to it. She keeps quarreling with me. I tolerate her but when my rage reaches to an acme sometimes I break with a violent anger. I like my own freedom you know. I don’t anybody to meddle with my affairs; and she does it so. How strange! Still you remain ever so romantic since your youth. You won’t change. Yes I have an unfathomable sea of love in my heart which simulate me writing poetry and romantic novel for which you know I have been rewarded with many prizes from the famous book trust of India. We reached the taxi stand near the station. I must go back finishing my walk. There was an announcement that the desired train of my friend had been running by 2 hrs late this time. So i had some more time to spend with Tabbu. I met him after a long time as he remains busy in traveling from place to place for his enjoyment. We sat on a bench in a canteen. Tabbu ordered for chilled milk which is very dear to him. He suddenly developed a dry hacking spasmodic cough and one button of his coat got torn out with the jerk of his bony chest. It was a narrow chest like that of Phosphorus. Form the very childhood he is very lean and thin, emaciated.
